Bio-Logical Capital, the company that has teamed up with Pattern Energy to develop the proposed Molokai wind farm, is pursuing a purchase of Maui’s Hana Ranch.

But the company is focusing on making the land work as ag and told Mayor Arakawa that “they are not planning energy projects of any kind with regard to Hana Ranch lands,” according to Doug McLeod, Maui County’s energy commissioner.
