The Hirono for Senate election night headquarters at 99 Ranch in Mapunapuna is gradually filling with supporters.

After a blessing, emcee Marvin Buenconsejo — who works for the U.S. rep — announced it’s time to grind.

Tim Johns, Hirono’s campaign chair, said before the first printout, “We’re in for a long night.”

Word is Sen. Dan Inouye will be making an appearance around 9:30 p.m. or so, depending on the printout flow.
