A couple more quick findings from campaign finance reports:

Gov. Neil Abercrombie, not up for re-election until 2014, raised $645,000 in the first six months of the year, according to his filing. He got the maximum of $6,000 apiece from around 20 contributors. Almost all of it came in during June, and some large contributions coincided with his June 21 fundraiser.

He spent $56,000 with Strategic Outcomes LLC on June 29 for “fundraising and event coordinations.” In all, Abercrombie spent $161,000 and had $1.3 million cash on hand as of June 30.

Meantime, Lt. Gov. Brian Schatz raised $81,000 in the six-month period, according to his filing. He spent $39,000 and had $250,000 cash on hand.
