This back-to-school edition of INSIGHTS looks at next steps for Hawaii’s public schools. Recent gains in reading and math scores have led to a renewed sense of optimism. However, public schools continue to face a host of challenges. Moderator Dan Boylan and guests will talk about the strategic plans to maintain the upward trend and ensure Hawaii’s $75 million Race to the Top federal grant.
