The Abercrombie administration has released more than $52.5 million for capital improvement projects in the areas of connectivity, energy and growth.
The funds, identified by members the state Legislature, are as follows:
• $43 million – Honolulu International Airport, Interim Car Rental Facility
• $3.5 million – Kalaeloa East Energy Corridor
• $2.2 million – Transpacific Cable Project
• $2.1 million – DAGS Info and Comm Services Division Radio Sites
• $1.5 million – Pohukaina Street Mixed-Use TOD Project
• $248,177 – Kulani Correctional Facility
