Honolulu City Council Candidates Keep Coming

It’s Day Two in the filing window to run for Tulsi Gabbard’s seat on the Honolulu City Council and already seven candidates have entered the race.

According to the most recent information from the Hawaii State Elections Office, four candidates filed to run for the District 6 position on the nine member council.

The new candidates are: Charles Amsterdam, Steven Miller, Christopher Smith and Arvid Youngquist.

On Wednesday, Jon Yoshimura, Robert Vieira and Ryan Kapuniai filed for office.

Stay tuned to see who else enters the race. Candidate have until Aug. 31 to file.
