Today is my last day as a crewmember on the ship known as Inside Honolulu.

As some of you have heard, I’ll be jetting off to the nation’s capital to take over Civil Beat‘s Washington D.C. bureau. I leave this blog, and CB’s broader city government coverage, in capable hands. You’ve already been enjoying Nick Grube‘s work for a few months in this space.

After a short break to complete my cross-country move, you can find my work in our DC808 blog. There, I’ll be sharing the latest on our congressional delegation and national politics that have an impact on life here in the islands.

It’s been a great run in a wonderful city. Thanks very much for reading.

What it means to support Civil Beat.

Supporting Civil Beat means you’re investing in a newsroom that can devote months to investigate corruption. It means we can cover vulnerable, overlooked communities because those stories matter. And, it means we serve you. And only you.
