Inside Honolulu reports:
The Honolulu City Council wants a heavier hammer to deal with outbursts and misbehaving members.
On Tuesday, the Executive Matters and Legal Affairs Committee discussed a new resolution that would, among other things, allow the council to suspend a member’s pay if they were found to be acting out.
This seems to be in response to a recent outburst by Council Member Tom Berg, who was removed from two committees as a result.
