Capitol Watch reports:

Hawaii apparently paid the daughter of a Kauai guy almost $400,000 in worker’s comp benefits before realizing he had been dead for more than 20 years.

Edwin Callison started collecting the cash in the 1970s after getting injured working at the Kauai Humane Society. He died in 1990. A federal grand jury recently indicted his daughter, Lynise Williams.
