Hawaii Supreme Court Upholds Rail Decision
Not much of a surprise here, but an important development nonetheless.

The Hawaii Supreme Court denied Honolulu’s request that to reconsider its recent ruling that halted rail construction.
It’s another victory for Paulette Kaleikini and the Native Hawaiian Legal Corporation, which argued that the city violated the law by not completing all of its mandatory archeological survey work prior to breaking ground on the $5.26 billion project.
In the meantime, the construction delays will continue to cost the city money. How, however, is uncertain since the Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation has not released any estimates on what the delays will cost.
