A Labor Day fire in a high rise in the West Maui town of Kahana forced evacuations, Maui Now reports.

Fire broke out about 6 a.m. at the Valley Isle resort and was contained about 1 p.m. The news outlet reports that fire and police officials are investigating the fire.
