Native Hawaiian students will get a financial boost to help them complete their doctoral programs and entrance exam prep courses at the University of Hawaii.
The Office of Hawaiian Affairs is ponying up a $110,000 grant toward the cause.
“As the state’s primary higher education provider, we are pleased to partner with OHA to increase college access and graduation rates for our indigenous population,” said Lui Hokoana, Associate Vice President of Student Affairs.
