So Much for Transparency — Honolulu Officials Mislead Media

This is disconcerting.

Honolulu officials intentionally tried to deceive local media outlets — including Civil Beat — about the future of the Waikiki Natatorium.

This raises many questions about transparency as well as whether officials have tried to cover up anything else.

Interesting that this comes out of Honolulu Mayor Peter Carlisle’s adminisration, which touts transparency. So much for that.
