Republicans are represented as well with Lauren Cheape, Miss Hawaii 2011, seeking a spot in the Hawaii State House. 

Cheape is seeking the District 45 seat (Mililani, Schofield, Kunia). Her competitor is Democrat Jake Bradshaw.

Republican Tiffany Au, a Narcissus Queen, is running against Democrat Scott Saiki for the District 26 House seat (Downtown, Kakaako, McCully).
