Hawaii Ed Board Approves DOE Budget

The Hawaii Board of Education approved the Department of Education’s proposed operating and capital improvement budgets today.

There were some reservations among board members over requests for money to pay for new tests and how the funding was prioritized, but both still passed unanimously.
