The distributor of sweepstakes machines seized by Honolulu police last month as part of a gambling operation has sued the city, according to our media partners at KITV. Excerpts:
Last month, nearly 80 machines were taken from six Winnerz Zone arcades.
Honolulu police had conducted a six month gambling investigation, and the prosecutor’s office stated the seizures were just the first step in the legal process.
But following the seizure no arrests were made, and no charges have been filed.
