How Will Kauai React To South Park Episode?

The “South Park” episode that aired this week portrays the Garden Isle and its denizens in a way that actual residents may take issue with.

It involves lots of haoles, Elvis, frozen drinks, kamaaina discounts, a cruise ship, Nawiliwili Harbor and at least two background characters that look an awful lot like Linda Lingle and Neil Abercrombie.

It’s just a cartoon, of course. But my guess is that some will take offense.
