Higa Meat & Pork Market has recalled 4,100 pounds of ground beef after it was found to be possibly contaminated with E. coli.

The possibly contaminated beef was sold in 10 lbs bag of “ground beef bulk,” which are normally sold one to six bags per carton/crate.

Each case bears the establishment number “EST. 12457M” inside the USDA mark of inspection, as well as the identifying case code number: “291.” The products were produced on Oct. 17 and were distributed to restaurants around Oahu.
