It’s set for 1 p.m. Tuesday (Oct. 2) in Conference Room 211 at the Capitol.

Sen. Donna Mercado Kim’s special committee is looking into financial and operational management at the University of Hawaii in light of the Stevie Wonder concert fiasco.

From the Senate’s blog: University of Hawaii Chancellor Tom Apple, Stan Sheriff Center Manager Rich Sheriff, University of Hawaii Board of Regents Vice Chairs James Lee and Carl Carlson and University of Hawaii Board of Regent Coralie Matayoshi were invited to testify before the committee. An invitation to attend the briefing was also sent to Bob Peyton.
