The city and county of Honolulu is looking for two pieces of artwork for the Wahiawa Transit Center.

The total budget for those pieces is $200,000. That’s $100,000 each.

According to the Mayor’s Office of Culture & The Arts, the city wants the art to focus on Wahiawa’s history and culture. All the better if that history involves transportation.

But not just any artist or team of artists will be chosen. Those individuals must comply with the Federal Transit Administration’s contractor requirements.
