All the laughter was sucked out of the room when the first election results announced at Ben Cayetano’s election party.

In fact, the only sound that could be heard for several minutes was President Barack Obama’s voice during his acceptance speech in Chicago.

While there are still votes to count, a 10 percentage point differential is a hard thing to overcome. 

Still waiting for Cayetano to reemerge and talk to the crowd.
