Kawika Crowley, who lost to Tulsi Gabbard by 128,000 votes in the race for Hawaii’s 2nd District seat in the U.S. Congress, still has the itch to serve.

Excerpts from a recent email:

I would like to take this opportunity to announce my strong consideration to run again in 2014 for the same seat against Tulsi. If I can garner over 40,000 votes across the state with just a last minute rush plan, no budget (a mere $1,600 package for one ad on 4 radio stations), with no staff but for a handful of loyal friends and family, one can only imagine the outcome in 2014. I will have two years to prep and build a daunting campaign machine. Will officially announce my intentions shortly.
