Gov Names New Director for Policy, Deputy for Communications

Gov. Neil Abercrombie on Friday (Nov. 16) named two new members of his executive staff: Kendra Oishi, director of policy, and Christine Hirasa, deputy director of communications.

Oishi (below) has worked as a legislative analyst for the state House of Representatives Majority Staff Office. Hirasa (bottom) served as a communications specialist for the  Department of Education’s Race to the Top initiative.
