Honolulu officials celebrated last week after learning they were getting $1.55 billion from the federal government to pay for a 20-mile-long, $5.26 billion rail system.
Now it’s time to sign the paperwork.
On Thursday, the Honolulu City Council‘s Committee on Legislative Matters is expected to approve a resolution that will authorize the execution of the $1.55 billion full funding grant agreement.
