Historically, there have been stories about there being no ladies’ room anywhere near the floor of the House of Representatives.

So here’s an interesting anecdote that reveals just how things are changing in the U.S. Senate: There was a line for the women’s bathroom.

From the Washington Post:

At the Washington Ideas Forum Wednesday in the Newseum, Sen Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) spoke about a historic moment earlier in the day.

“For the first time, there was a traffic jam in the Senate women’s bathroom,” she said. “There were five of us in there, and there are only two stalls.”
