This is an interesting tale from the Maui News. Maui police officer Ka Ena Brown succeeded in finding the owner of a Salt Lake City high school class ring that was turned into the police department. And it only took her two days.
The owner, who graduated in 1970, says she hadn’t seen or even thought about the ring in decades but was thrilled to get it back.
So the bigger mystery may be: how did that ring end up in the dirt off to the side of a Maui road?
