The state of Hawaii collected total of $1.76 billion in tax revenue during the first four months of the fiscal year, 11 percent more than the $1.58 billion collected during the same period last year, according to the state Department of Taxation.
The state collected $412.7 million in tax revenue October, bringing the total, to-date, for the fiscal year that began July 1 to $1.76 billion, state tax officials said in a preliminary statement.
