Tulsi Gabbard would be the first female combat veteran to serve in the U.S. Senate if she gets the nod to fill the late Sen. Dan Inouye’s seat.
That’s according to Vietnam veteran Allen Hoe, who is making a case for Gabbard in this commentary written for the Huffington Post.
