The Department of Business, Economic Development & Tourism (DBEDT) released the Daily Estimated Averages for the State of Hawaii from 2011 to 2012 today. It’s basically a one page fact sheet of calculations using data from the U.S. Census Bureau.
Some interesting tidbits:
- On average, between July 1, 2011 and July 1, 2012, there was an increase of 39 people per day in Hawaii.

There was a 25 person net growth of people moving into Hawaii from foreign countries.

There was also an eight person net loss of people moving out of Hawaii to other U.S. states
