Hawaii Education Superintendent Kathryn Matayoshi said today that 2012 marked an “exciting and rewarding chapter” in the state’s effort to transform its public school system.

She highlighted expanded early childhood education opportunities and extended learning time for the state’s most needy student. 

Matayoshi also underscored a new strategic plan that sets clear expectations and provides students with a rigorous path toward college and career readiness.
