TechNet.org has come out with its state broadband index — and Hawaii is No. 48 out of 50.
The report evaluated states based on three factors: broadband adoption rates, network speeds and economic structure.
Hawaii has shown some improvement since 2007, and its worth noting that the report mentions Gov. Abercrombie’s plan to build a gigabit network statewide by 2018.
