Former Honolulu Mayor Peter Carlisle is heading into the business realm.

During a statue dedication ceremony today, Carlisle announced he would be an international business adviser for the law firm O’Connor, Playdon & Guben.

The ceremony included representatives from Honolulu’s sister city of Incheon, South Korea.

Carlisle was an advocate for establishing sister city relationships, and made several trips overseas during his two years as mayor.
