Ceremonies are set to begin this morning (Wednesday, Jan. 16) at the Hawaii Legislature, and lines have already formed to let people into House and Senate chambers.
The rotunda is crawling with groups opposed to genetically modified foods and the Public Land Development Corporation, two issues likely to be before lawmakers this session.
Also in attendance are children from Hawaiian-language immersion schools and several cultural experts.
