Honolulu Mayor Kirk Caldwell will be attending this year’s NFL Pro Bowl scheduled Jan. 27.
This isn’t too much of a shock considering the event’s importance to Hawaii’s bottom line, and the fact that being mayor comes with a few perks.
Here’s the rest of Caldwell’s schedule for the upcoming week:
Monday, January 21
- 8:30 a.m. – Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade, from Magic Island to Kapiolani Park.
Tuesday, January 22
- 10 a.m. – Governor’s State of the State address in the state House Chambers.
- 11:30 a.m. – Pro Bowl news conference at Hilton Hawaiian Village.
Thursday, January 24
- 9:30 a.m. – Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation board of directors meeting at Mission Memorial building meeting room.
- 1 p.m. – City Council Transportation Committee hearing at committee meeting room.
Friday, January 25
- 2:30 p.m. – NFL health and safety clinic at Farrington High School.
Saturday, January 26
- 9 a.m. – Pillars of Peace event at Blaisdell Center, Pikake Room.
Sunday, January 27
- 12 noon – Pro Bowl tailgate parties and game at Richardson Field and Aloha Stadium.
