Hawaii Pacific University was again recognized as a military-friendly university in the 2013 Guide to Military-Friendly Colleges & Universities, according to a press release. The guide was published by Military Advanced Education — a higher education journal for servicemembers.
The guide selects institutions that “go out of their way to implement military-friendly policies,” including flexibility of online learning options, on-campus veteran assistance, presence on military installations and full-time counselors trained in veteran-specific mental health concerns.
HPU has campus programs at a number of Oahu military installations.
