SB 9 Prohibits persons convicted of cruelty to animals from possessing, owning or residing with any pets for one to five years.

SB 414 Establishes licensing requirements and standards for commercial dog breeders.

SB 8 Prohibits animal owners from performing any surgical procedure without being licensed as a veterinarian.  

SB 870 Establishes types of unjustifiable physical force when used to discipline minors.

SB 945 and HB 34 allow condominiums and housing coops to adopt rules to prohibit smoking.

HB 611 Makes it unlawful for tanning facilities to allow use of tanning beds by anyone under 18.
