Surfer Garrett McNamara may have broken his own world record for the largest wave ever caught.
The Guardian reports that McNamara may have surfed a 100-foot wave off the coast of Nazare, Portugal. If the claim is verified, he will have broken the previous world record he set in 2011 by 10 feet.
McNamara was born in Massachusetts and moved to Oahu’s North Shore when he was 11.
