Need a job? The Department of Health is giving out $100,000 in funds to individuals, community groups or companies interested in helping with Japanese tsunami cleanup efforts. 

NOAA provided $50,000 for the program and the Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources matched it.

From a health department press release: 

To date, there have been six confirmed incidents and nearly 100 sightings of potential JTMD in Hawaii. It is anticipated that the increased removal of marine debris will help to reduce threats to public health, lessen impacts to critical habitats, and address possible negative effects on Hawaii’s economy.
