The Daily Mail reports:
Aerospace engineer Julian Sharpe, 50, believes his disaster-proof pod will save people from tidal waves, tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes and super storms. And he is so confident of the life-saving aluminium ball that he will ride it down the world-famous 167ft waterfall.
The pods, which are round with a little door, resemble antique glass scuba helmets.
Sharpe, who lives in Seattle, shopped his prototype around at an expo in Yokohama, Japan, where he won sponsors to commission more of them. He’d like to sell different models of the capsule for between $975 and $4,875.
