The Kaiser complex — encompassing Kaiser High School, Niu Valley Middle School and Hahaione — is now the first public school complex in the state to offer the IB World School Programme to all grade levels, according to Tuesday’s press release.
The IB Programme is a coveted status for schools around the world. The curriculum emphasizes and highlights the importance of international awareness and responsible citizenship for students. Its world class curriculum prepares students for college that includes the speaking of a foreign language before high school graduation.
Kaiser High and Niu Valley Middle already offer the program. Other Hawaii schools with IB include Campbell High School, Le Jardin Academy and Mid-Pacific Institute.
