
The proposal for a $10 million Kakaako amusement park includes a dizzying array of facilities such as an indoor skydiving chamber, wave pool, go kart race track, and miniature golf course. And don’t forget the skate park and Ferris Wheel.
The developer hopes the ambitiously planned park will open by June.
Alii Enterprises unveiled its plans for the new park at the site of the long vacant lot on Ala Moana during a meeting held by the Hawaii Community Development Authority today.
Billy Balding, Alii’s owner, said the project will create 35 to 45 jobs.
