We’re live at the Capitol today, where lawmakers this morning are taking up the so-called Steven Tyler Act to protect celebrities from paparazzi.
Capitol Watch reports:
The Senate Judiciary Committee is scheduled to hear the Steven Tyler Act in 20 minutes. The room is already swarming with media.
That’s probably because the bill’s namesake, Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler, is expected to testify.
The anti-paparazzi measure would allow people to sue anyone who takes an “offensive” picture of them in their private lives.
Stay tuned for more coverage.
