Honolulu is the No. 1 most expensive U.S. destination to stay this Presidents’ Day weekend, according to a recent survey by CheapHotels.org.
Maui and the Big Island also made the top ten list of costliest vacation destinations, ranking fourth and tenth, respectively.
According to the survey:
To stay overnight in a well-situated 3-star hotel room in Honolulu, travelers will have to spend a minimum of $294. That figure positions Honolulu slightly ahead of the second- and third-place finishers, Fort Myers and Key West.
