The Good Beginnings Alliance is hosting Ohana Movie Night tomorrow evening from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. to rally and fundraise for early childhood education at Wet n Wild Hawaii water park in Kapolei.

Among the events will be a ParaNorman showing (at the wave pool!), five rides, food concessions and remarks from Terry Lock, director of the Executive Office of Early Learning, and state Rep. Sharon Har

Admission is $10 per adult, and children under 17 are free (as long as they’re with an adult). Tickets can be purchased online at BeMyVoiceHawaii.org or at the door.

Three bills that would pave the way for a statewide early education program are advancing through the Legislature. The EOEL is also requesting that the Senate Ways and Means Committee restore about $30 million in funding to implement the programs.
