Hawaii United for Marriage member organization, The Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Caucus of the Democratic Party of Hawai‘i, will host the FINAL day of a three-day event at the Iolani Palace as part of a national event, Light the Way to Justice. Light the Way to Justice is an historic event taking place in over 170 cities, across the nation, in every state of the union. These gatherings are under the umbrella of “United for Marriage” using the theme, “Light the Way to Justice”. …
Tonight’s events (Wednesday, March 27, 4 p.m..) will begin with sign waving in support of marriage equality in front of the Iolani Palace on King Street.
Note: The U.S. Supreme Court held oral arguments this week on gay marriage rights.
