Honolulu Mayor Kirk Caldwell and several top city officials might be getting a raise, according to the Honolulu Star-Advertiser.

The Honolulu Salary Commission today approved a plan to increase Caldwell’s salary by 4 percent. Many department heads would see a similar bump.

Honolulu Police Chief Louis Kealoha would also get a 5.5 percent raise under the commission’s recommendations, the newspaper reports.
