On April 17, the HSTA’s 13,500 members across the state will participate in the ratification vote of the four-year contract tentative agreement reached with the State of Hawaii on March 24. Since reaching a tentative agreement, the HSTA has been educating its members about the details of the contract. Following the vote, results will be announced and remarks will be provided by HSTA president Wil Okabe at the HSTA headquarters.
The headquarters are located at 1200 Ala Kapuna St. Okabe will announce the results at 7:30 p.m., according to the press release.
