Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar today announced the renaming of the Kīlauea Point Lighthouse on the island of Kaua’i in Hawai’i in honor of the late Senator Daniel Inouye. The action is in recognition of his distinguished career and longtime support of conservation in Hawai’i and, in particular, the Kīlauea Point National Wildlife Refuge.
