Looks Like $2,000 Is Honolulu Mayor’s Going Rate

Honolulu Kirk Caldwell is trying to boost his re-election coffers.

The charge is $2,000 a head.

Caldwell is hosting a fundraiser at 3660 On The Rise on Waialae Avenue tonight.

According to the Hawaii Campaign Spending Commission, Caldwell is asking each person who attends to pony up two grand.

That’s the same amount he’s charging for an event on May 7 that’s being called “An Evening With Mayor Kirk Caldwell.”
