Mid-Pacific Institute 9th graders on six teams will be pitching their self-designed aquaponics systems to a panel of three local entrepreneurs Monday, April 22. The projects were assigned as part of the school’s experiential learning program MPX and reflect three months-worth of work.
The systems are small, table-top set ups designed to grow crops and other plans and promote sustainability in Hawaii. The panel will select one of the six projects to market.
